Williams : Did you use the stylus for the marks on the bottom of Arboreal Trees? 12:02:33 From Lucy Julia Hale : Hi from Lucy Julia Hale. Any CAAs from Georgia who would like to be members of a close-by to them Women's Caucus for Art Chapter but who are not already: Our WCA GA chapter is on hiatus to regroup. This chapter had been very active since the 1970's, but COVID beached our ship, mostly because WCAGA was in-person focused, with most members living in Atlanta. In the meantime, WCA National has encouraged the Alabama chapter of WCA to offer their membership to Georgians until WCAGA revives. But the Alabama chapter is so good, offering many exhibitions (including virtual ones) for its members, that you would likely want to extend "meantime" to "forever" and continue as a member of ALWCA even after you join the new WCAGA. Please contact me if you are interested helping to recreate and join WCAGA, --Lucy Julia Hale lucyjulia@live.com 12:03:25 From P.K. Williams : Just fyi, I pour epoxy resin over some of my collages and if you sand it down and coat it in acrylic medium or varnish it "resembles" encaustic. And, it does not melt in heat or crack in cold. 12:34:15 From Jean Hess, Interim Program chair : Liquitex pourable mediums also can be deeper faster and more like encaustic without having to do 30 acrylic layers 12:37:05 From Kwei-lin Lum - Newsletter editor : Can I plug the newsletter briefly? 12:37:24 From Rachel : www.artintheloft.org Alpena 12:37:46 From Jean Hess, Interim Program chair : Please forgive me.
